Key Features
Gameplay
The konbini is a one-level building with lots of interactive areas to explore…
Storage Room
Here's where all the goods are stocked, but this tiny store space also serves as a study, a place to reflect on each night's events. There is also a landline phone here which can be used to order deliveries or to reach out to the townsfolk whose numbers are listed in the phonebook.
Main Entrance
These sliding glass doors open to a parking lot. The store is located at the outskirts of the town, and customers often get here from afar. Each time when a customer enters the store, you can hear a distinctive tonal sound announcing their arrival.
Sales Floor
Like a real-life konbini, the space is not large, but every single item you can see here has its purpose. Taking your time to explore the environment, to see how the goods are placed, and to memorise different product brands would pay off later on when customers come asking you for help.
Checkout Area
Scanning bar codes and operating a cash register can be just a prelude to a casual conversation that brings you closer to your customers. As you get to listen to their confessions and learn what troubles them, you may find a way to soothe their souls and cheer up their spirits.
Back Entrance
Its sectional overhead door slides up when delivery boxes you’ve ordered arrive. It also allows Makoto to step outside and enjoy a breath of fresh air. With a lot of work to do, she wouldn’t spend much time out of the store, though
Experience a tranquil atmosphere of the early 1990s working behind the counter of a cozy small-town store!
